For example, there is also the Service Oriented Programming thing. Then there is of course the big methodologies such as Rational Unified stuff. Perhaps there is a need to do a vertical unification? In the Analysis phase there are the big methodologies. Then in the design or implementation phase there are Views that contextualize design decisions and constraints. Thus, the designer can view the architecture from a SOP view. Not sure if this is of any value.
