Excellent presentation addressing the Semantic Web effort. Semantic Web Hype I found the RDF sections very interesting. Though the RDF experts refuse to acknowledge that the xml serialization syntax is very important (hmmm, maybe a stumbling block) for use in an XML world, the presentation (and TBL) give many valid reasons why it is. I may be naive but why can't there just be a explicit non-variable xml serialization syntax? Perhaps along the lines of RPV. Then XML tools like XPath could be used.
